Sally Levy, Parrsboro, inspired and gave comfort to her six children all her life. So, it was not unexpected that she would return when they needed her following her death on August 8th , 2012.

Debbi was the one that needed her most that year, but when her mother came to her in a dream about two months after her death, she wasn’t aware that there was devastating news coming to her in the not very distant future. Now, she believes her mother did know what was coming, and came from heaven in a dream to soften the blow which would take its toll on both Debbi’s mind and body.
Debbi visited her mother often and she always implied that she was ready to meet her God because she had such a strong faith. When Sally was taken to Colchester Regional Health Centre she was put on a respirator. When Debbi visited with her then she knew that the respirator was going to be removed at her mother’s request. She asked her mother to say hi to her grandparents Lila and Layton Stonehouse, Oxford, who were called Granny and Grampy, and Harold and Janet Levy, Parrsboro, who were called Nanny and Poppy, when she got to heaven. She answered that she would. She passed away less than an hour later.
About two months later Debbi had a strange dream one night. She dreamed that she went into the kitchen of her home in Parrsboro only to find no one there. She got herself a coffee and sat down on the sofa.
Suddenly her mother appeared and sat down beside her. She appeared in human body but even in her dream, Debbi realized she should have been in a heavenly form. They sat there for a long time discussing what was happening both in heaven and
on earth. Sally assured her that the grandparents were fine and they had what Debbi described as an awesome day.
Sally always insisted that things had a place and they should be returned to that special location. She cautioned Debbi that she was welcome to borrow anything from the house but to be sure to put it back where it belonged. Debbi couldn’t help wonder why she cared as she was not on earth anymore to use them. The dream was so real that when she woke up Debbi felt a peaceful presence in her heart. She knew her mother was there for her and always would be.
Only two weeks later she was told she had cancer and her future would include three major surgeries. And if that wasn’t enough for one year she had a car accident and walked away from it unharmed.
Throughout all that trauma she has never lost sight of the faith her mother had and passed on to her. “I never had a fear of death. If God wanted me I knew he would take me to a better place.”
The good news is she survived and is doing well. She hasn’t seen her mother again, but in her heart she knows she is close by. Sally wanted only the best for her child when she lived and would want no less in death.
