After the heat endured through September, October has begun to reveal autumn weather. The temperatures have been cooler and the trees have refashioned their leaves in shades of orange, yellow, red, and brown. It is peaceful to walk where there are trees surrounding you, their leaves scattered all over your path. I have become more of a fall-enjoyer over the years. I believe it has come with getting into the spirit and taking notice of the positive aspects this season has to offer.

When it comes to engulfing the warm-shaded scenery. It is truly wonderful to explore the aspects of nature. The combination of autumn trees and leaves with old architecture is gorgeous. My campus is full of older architecture and it's a wonderful sight. The many shades of leaves paired with the detail displayed among the buildings. It makes walking across campus everyday much more pleasant.

I, myself, am a chronic music lover. When I am out and about, most likely walking to and from class, I find myself listening to music that feels suited for the nature I am in. I have created and have listened to multiple fall inspired playlists to get in the autumn-mood. For me, music heightens my mood. This is better for paying attention in class, writing notes, doing school work, or overall just having a good day.

Decorating can really enable the fall aesthetic. Typically colours such as orange, yellows or more generally, warm tones fit this vibe. Because of this, it feels more cozy. A couple days ago, I found myself unable to study. I felt as though I needed to be in a more aesthetically pleasing workspace. So I procrastinated even more by decorating my room with warm lights and the Halloween decorations that I discovered I had. Because of this, I felt much more willing to do schoolwork and, maybe consequently, worked on my assignments until very late at night. Nevertheless, I was able to be that productive because of the pretty and relaxing environment I was in as it lifted stress off my shoulders.

In regards to aesthetically pleasing environments, I have been longing to go to a cafe recently to study. There is something so pleasant about sitting in a cafe, with a warm drink, and listening to the soft, sweet sound of jazz in the background. Then you gaze outside to see the display of warm colours in the scenery. It truly makes my love for fall grow immensely.

In all honesty, I do not watch much movies. Because of this, I decided to set a goal for this year to watch 50 of them. Currently, I have only watched 29. However, this is the time of year when I seem to find myself watching the most movies. It's not really horror movies I watch, but ones with the fall or Halloween vibe. These movies, I believe, have made me appreciate the season of fall more as well.

Something about a comforting aesthetic and atmosphere creates happiness and enables the ability to do things. Whether that be productive, or simply enjoyable. I was not much of a fall lover when I was younger, but since I have begun to see the beauty in things, and have created something meaningful out of it, I have since been enjoying this season immensely and have seen much productivity because of this enjoyment.
