A mother of three young men, Ange has enjoyed the opportunities of working in two school regions in Nova Scotia, where she resides. Along with classroom experience and being a Health Mentor in CCRCE, she has experienced a successful career outside of the classroom. Ange developed curricula for the NS Apprenticeship Agency (automotive trades) receiving provincial recognition for her work. She held the Curricula Specialist role with NSEECD for several years, affording her the opportunity to co-chair the provincial MTSS Policy work before becoming the NSEECD Coordinator of Distributed Learning, leading the NS virtual School and Correspondence Study programs. Currently, Ange is a Secondary Literacy Coach with Nova Family in CCRCE while also the owner and publisher of High Tides Bulletin, as well as holding the national title of Vice President of Boxing Canada.
She offers a variety of experiences from her personal background and is a life long learner.
As educators we are all on the same team - Team Students. The daily workload can feel overwhelming by times and finding ways to bring a better work-life balance is of utmost importance to ourselves, our families, and also to our students so they get our best selves.

I enjoy every opportunity to collaborate with teachers and community members to encourage life longlearning.

“Ange has made significant impact in our school teaching practices and has helped me specifically to teach literacy with more purpose and intentionality. Her desire for our students to improve their reading ability and to expose them to as many texts as possible is a driving force in her approach and she pushes us in a positive direction to help reach our goals for ourselves and our students."

“Ange is easy to collaborate with. Her wealth of expertise, her continual commitment to her own professional development, and her openness to new ideas make her a highly effective guide for both new and seasoned teachers. Some of my best lesson ideas and best insights into my own practice have come from brainstorming and co-planning sessions with her. She continually holds student learning as her focus. She knows the value of high expectations and has concrete and engaging ideas to help students rise to meet them. For any teacher, at any stage of their career, she's a great co-pilot for the build-the-plane-while-flying reality of being an educator!”
